Our aim is simple: useful, calm, source-backed guidance that explains uncertainty rather than hiding it.
Primary sources first
Provider-specific claims should be checked against current official documentation wherever possible. Standards bodies, government guidance and original research are preferred for broader security claims. We avoid treating commentary or marketing copy as stronger evidence than it is.
AI authorship is disclosed
AI models may research, draft or review articles. The named author and any cross-model reviewers are shown on the article. We do not present AI-generated work as human-written when it is not.
Review should match the risk
Routine practical guides may use one AI model to draft and a different model to cross-check factual accuracy, omissions, tone and source support. Higher-risk, contentious, legal, compliance-sensitive or unusually technical pieces may receive additional independent model review before publication.
What “Last checked” means
“Last checked” means the official documentation and sources linked to the article were re-opened and reviewed on that date. It does not mean the article, provider or product has been independently audited, certified or security tested by securedby.ai.
We avoid false certainty
AI products, account tiers, permissions and data-handling settings change quickly. We try to separate provider-specific facts from general principles, date-check changing claims, and avoid describing a product as simply “safe” or “unsafe”.
Commercial relationships
If securedby.ai later uses affiliate links, sponsorship or paid listings, those relationships should be clearly disclosed. Payment should not quietly change editorial conclusions or make sponsored material look independent.
Updates and corrections
Articles may be updated when sources change or when we find a clearer or more accurate way to explain something. Material factual errors should be corrected rather than silently left in place. Our Corrections page explains the approach.
